TRAINING Training mainly is the process of providing trainees with specific skills or helping those correct deficiencies in their performance. There are many ways of training, but the importance of it is to let the trainees be motivated to learn more, and this can be achieved by letting the training sessions be entertaining and competitive. PATH is offering this service to fresh graduates and employees who need some training in the accounting field. This training is divided into two sections training courses, and training seminars. The training courses are practical courses which help the trainees be down to earth and help them face any accounting problem that they may face in their working life. A significant problem meets fresh graduate accountants’ in their shift from university context to practical and real life context in the Lebanese market. This problem is due to the tax oriented nature of the accounting function in the Lebanese business environment. However, university programs do not focus on this area, and consequently, fresh graduates lack tax proficiency. Training courses at PATH target, is to solve this problem by introducing to the academic community practical programs that cover the full scope of the accounting function, specifically highlighting the following areas: The training courses are to take place in the regular working hours at Majzoub & Partners, CPAs workplace. This approach plans to familiarize fresh graduates not only with the practical accounting practices and tasks, but also with the real life accounting environment. In this sense, trainees will not be treated as students in a lecture; they will be trained to be accounting employees handling full responsibility of a professional accountant. After the training course is covered a certificate will be given to the trainees that they had enclosed the course outline successfully. |
